Israel has transformed its prisons into an interconnected system of torture camps targeting Palestinians. Detainees are subjected to extreme violence, systematic humiliation, starvation, sleep deprivation, denial of medical treatment, and abuse across all detention facilities. Some have also suffered grave sexual assaults.

Since October 2023, at least 84 Palestinians have died in these torture camps. Those responsible for policy, most notably National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, have publicly bragged in televised segments and on social media about the conditions and practices inside these torture camps.
