@itsafrogslife @normal_danny I was going to say exactly this, it only makes a difference to a small number of participants and that's the [official] justification for removing it. Focus moves to personal wellbeing and improvement, whichever is important to each individual.

@normal_danny Visited a few weeks ago, many were voicing similar concerns. The only reason I could think of was that, in reverse, the leaders would be finishing just as the majority of runners would be completing the first lap. There was a buggy runner near me (~20min) and it did work for him.
