@billmccoshen How can you work IN the White House (like in the Oval Office) and be a huge investor in cryptocurrency and the head of a family that owns crypto businesses while at the same time making key decisions about crypto policy and crypto regulations?
@billmccoshen@C__Herridge She failed to challenge Rubio on Trump’s pushing of Putin’s discredited narrative. I know Rubio would like to forget about it, because it is personally embarrassing to him, but you can’t ignore that an any discussion of this topic.
@billmccoshen@C__Herridge Would have been a stronger interview if she had asked about Trump blaming Ukraine for starting the war and how that kind of talk is not only inaccurate propaganda but counterproductive to peace talks.
@billmccoshen You and I probably agree that the SSA needs reform. But 150-year-olds collecting Social Security is not a “significant” problem. Some people want it to be true so badly because it fits into their narrative. Just like they did with the Haitians eating cats and dogs.
@billmccoshen I did reread it—twice. You are just muddying the waters. If you are suggesting that maybe the SSA should transition to some more modern coding system from COBOL, that seems reasonable. But I wouldn’t call that a “significant” problem.
@billmccoshen It doesn’t suggest that at all. It’s the use of seemingly credible but misleading facts to advance a falsehood, pure and simple. Reform of the SSA is fine. Basing it on a foundation of lies isn’t.
@billmccoshen No. That’s the deception here. Musk is trying to get people to think that millions of fake centenarians are receiving Social Security, posting a document that appears to show that. But if he and his cult followers bothered to check it out, they would discover that it doesn’t.
