INDIA NEEDS TO WATCH THIS HIMALAYAN FLOOD WAVE!
A major flood has entered Nepal’s Bhote Koshi from the Tibetan side, triggering alerts across the Trishuli basin.
Bhote Koshi becomes Trishuli which becomes Narayani/Gandak and if flows into Bihar eventually into the Ganga.
West Champaran, East Champaran, Gopalganj, Saran & Vaishali should remain vigilant.
This may not become a major flood in India. But it's best to be vigilant.
This is something all Indians must understand leaving behind politics and ideologies:
The massive boom in India's infrastructure in the last 10 years is undeniable. Be it highways, border roads, airports, trains, metros, or ports - there's a 100-300% increase compared to before. No joke.
I have not seen this level of development and building for decades before. Projects are not just announced but are actually being completed and inaugurated.
When you have this much infrastructure being built by thousands of contractors and companies, there will always be some issues come up. From bad quality here and there to delays in some.
It happens in every country. Even in the most developed and advanced ones like the very large US or very small Singapore. They too have leaking metro stations, roads that cave in, bridges that break, and trains that breakdown.
But only for India, there's a coordinated communist campaign being run online to blackpill Indians by lifting every issue around the large country, amplifying it as the worst that only happens in India, to destroy the credibility of India's development and government.
If you suddenly start building 100,000 kms of highways, using thousands of contractors and hundreds of companies, yes there will be a few kms of bad patch somewhere or a bad contractor doing a shoddy job.
Yet, that is being taken and amplified online to disillusion Indians about their own democracy, destroy their confidence, and derail India's development using their disillusionment. They are made to believe and say "Everything is bad, everything is corrupt."
This is being done in a coordinated way targeting India's youth primarily. Because the adversaries know India's youth have no past experience to judge. And they are the ones who will take India to the future.
They can be easily programmed showing only the glitzy images of Shangai & Shenzen to make them feel sad about their cities. They know by disillusioning them, and destroying their confidence, India's development can be arrested for a long time.
If you as an older adult understand this and the significance of the current infrastructure boom for the future, it is your responsibility to inform at least a few of the people you know offline about what's going on.
It's OK you get challenged, ridiculed, or even abused. Because we know the mental programming and blackpilling is that much these days. Yet, it is important to try make them understand for India's sake.

From jugaad to genius, from chai-fueled dreams to global achievements, every episode reminds us that extraordinary things happen when passion meets perseverance.
You pay for Amazon Prime assuming it means ad-free content as a paid, premium user. And then you discover ads interrupting your streaming content. You pay again for ad-free option. And then you find ads in web series released on MX Player playing on Prime. And then you discover that not all content is available free. You have to pay to ‘rent’ a movie. You try to watch Indian Idol on Sony LIV as a paying premium subscriber only to be interrupted by ads every 5 min. In a 15-min sports highlight section you are served 5 ads. The brand team shapes what the product experience is.
You whine about all this on social media. The brands ‘listen’ to you through a dedicated team and the bots or real humans reply with the templated ‘oh, that’s not the experience we’d like you to have. Please DM us with your contact number’. And then nothing happens. Nothing changes. Life goes on. You continue to suffer through intrusive ads.
But advertising gurus and marketing pundits say that ‘consumer is in control’. Of what exactly? We are told that marketing is now in the hands of the consumer and they set the narrative. I really don’t see how. At best, consumers can ‘block’ ads when they can (such as the skippable YouTube ad or take the ad-free Premium option over there) through ad blockers on browsers. They can choose not to follow your brand’s content on social or simply find other ways to ignore your brand’s content by not paying attention. In some cases consumer feedback has resulted in ads being tweaked or taken off air. But how is all this deemed as ‘consumer is in control’?

Let me explain what just happened today because it deserves so much recognition.
GalaxEye is a Bengaluru startup founded in 2021 by IIT Madras engineers. Today they launched Mission Drishti on a SpaceX Falcon 9. It is India's largest privately built satellite at 190 kg. And it carries a technology that no commercial satellite has ever carried before.
Normal satellites take photos of the Earth using optical cameras. Like your phone camera, but from 500 km up. The problem is obvious. Clouds. Night. Fog. Smoke. If any of these are in the way, the photo is useless. India has monsoon cover for 4 months a year. That is 4 months where optical satellites are partially or fully blind over large parts of the country.
The alternative is SAR. Synthetic Aperture Radar. Instead of taking photos with light, it sends radar waves down and reads what bounces back. Radar goes through clouds, through darkness, through smoke. A SAR satellite can image a flooded village at 2 AM during a cyclone when no optical satellite can see anything.
The problem with SAR is that the images look nothing like photos. They look like grainy black-and-white radar maps. A military analyst or a trained geospatial engineer can read them. A farmer, a disaster response team, or a city planner cannot.
Until today, if you wanted both optical and SAR data for the same location, you needed two different satellites, passing over at different times, at different angles. Then someone had to manually align and fuse the two datasets. Expensive, slow, and the data never perfectly matched because the satellites saw the same spot minutes or hours apart.
GalaxEye put both sensors on one satellite. Optical and SAR, fused into what they call OptoSAR. Three times more information than a single sensor. Processed onboard by an NVIDIA AI chip at 1.8 metre resolution.
Now in practice, during the next cyclone hitting Odisha, one satellite pass gives you a clear image of which villages are flooded, which roads are cut, and which buildings are standing. Day or night. Cloud or clear. In near real-time.
For defence, it means you can monitor a border area 24/7 regardless of weather. For agriculture, it means tracking crop health across an entire monsoon season without a single cloud gap. For infrastructure, it means monitoring construction progress on highways and bridges without waiting for a clear day.
GalaxEye tested their SAR tech on ISRO's POEM orbital platform. The satellite was tested at ISRO facilities. IN-SPACe provided regulatory clearance. NSIL, ISRO's commercial arm, will distribute the imagery globally. And it launched on SpaceX because ISRO's PSLV doesn't have the right orbit slot for this mission.
Yes, four IIT Madras graduates built a world-first satellite in 4 years in Bengaluru.
Take a bow!
From bringing our hands together in devotion to bringing them together to... hold a smartphone! Never fails to amuse (though not surprise) me - year after year! It's almost like we have been fully conditioned to not soak in any moment without trying to also capture it for posterity.

Several years ago, engineers at a major Indian OEM wanted to add a simple valve to their own engine.
They knew how to do it. The problem: the software running inside their own vehicle's ECU was locked. The key was in Germany.
Three years later, the problem remained unsolved. 🧵
Why is India not a tourism superpower ?
1. Unsafe roads, no pavements, stray animals
2. Dirt, garbage, and lack of hygiene
3. Petty corruption
4. Traffic chaos
5. Poor global branding and perception management
6. Tourism stuck in state-level red tape
7. Pollution
8. No proper city or tourist site infrastructure
9. Inconsistent service standards
10.Biggest of all- lack of civic sense
We have everything- mountains, deserts, beaches, history, spirituality. Yet Malaysia, Turkey, Singapore, Thailand and even the UAE attract more tourists each year than we do.
So the issue isn’t what we have. It’s how we manage it.
Potential is not our problem. Execution is. 🇮🇳
Our fighter jets are from France and Russia, our computers and software are from US, Phones made in China, cars made in Japan, Medical research from abroad... AI from everywhere.. but be scared of hospitals. #MedTwitter
India is a place where you can learn a lot of life lessons.
The difference between how you are treated is often decided by what you wear/ride, How you look!
The biggest example is the set by Five star Hotels, try riding a bike anywhere in any of those fancy hotels and see how you will interrogated, asked if you have bookings etc however if you have car, no one will bat an eye beyond the usual check!
Irrespective of what’s the bike worth, it may be more expensive than the car next to it but “its a bike” which is generally connected in India to something only who doesn’t have enough will opt for.
Apparently, car indicators are now sold as a "premium luxury subscription" that most in the city can't afford. 🙄
My brakes are tired of surprises 😮.
