Soap operas drifted me apart from the shenanigan. #Puroresu made me fall in love with the art 'again'.
Promotions I follow: #NJPW, #RevPro, #AEW, #Impact
@PChill708 @davemeltzerWON I would prefer some company that got weekly format in place. Luke OVW. Now an indie but MLW fits that bill as well. Again other than paying another promotion they can hire a booker and do the same with RoH
@ZombieJesus198@WrestlePurists Again expenditures also result in creating tangible and intangible assets. I doubt AEW is making a "profit" as of yet. But, I do think they're making positive growth. It took Amazon 14 years to make a profit.
@ZombieJesus198@WrestlePurists It depends on a lot of issues.
A jump from 75m to 170m within a year is huge. I am sure the expenditure is higher also. But I doubt it has been doubled as well. Some of the costs like Game development is NOT a cost for this year alone as it started a few years ago.
@BronxLaugher@smoothvega@WrestlePurists In business there's a term called infancy. That means a period that is required before turning any business profitable. The higher the investment is, the longer it takes. For example, Amazon made its first profit in its 14th year of operation.
@WrestleTix The problem with RoH is that it seems like they don't have any plans for it. The product doesn't need to be great but as a viewer I need to see they're putting in some effort. Although, the women's storylines of RoH are quite solid everything else is subpar.
@NoirDarkness6 @SpenceD__ @MarquezLive_ Sports entertainment is a made up name. All sports are for entertainment purposes. The name itself doesn't signify the scripted part of it.
One more thing, just because a current wrestler might not approach a veteran/legendary wrestler does not mean that wrestler is disrespectful, it doesnβt mean that that wrestler doesnβt want to get better. It could be that they are intimidated, or they want to show that they can stand on their own 2 feet. That was me when I was younger.
