I needed a steamer for curtains at our Vegas condo today. Found one on @amazon for $24.95. Told me to add a nickel for same-day delivery so I added on a $29 power brick I needed anyway. Then it says for $4.99 it can be delivered in the next three hours. So I did that. Then it said the items were on the truck and six stops away an hour ago. Now I just got an update apologizing and saying it will be here tomorrow by 8 PM. Tomorrow I will be long gone on the road to our primary house. How could this estimate have been so far off? Where’s my stuff I was upsold a total of $60 for?

Placed an order on #Amazon 2-days ago. As a #Prime member, I didn’t qualify for same day or next day delivery. I only qualified for 2-day delivery. Today, is day two and my item isn’t even out for delivery yet, but it says “Arriving today.”
