@sobotichi@APater6076@Prynicalsick@MotoGE77 Lilou Wadoux is a factory Ferrari driver and has tested the 499P a couple of times. She deserves recognition as well but hasn’t had to make so many drastic pivots in her career to get to where she’s at.
@PatrickLizzy3@NicoleOnRacing Lambo is gone even if they went LMH. That’s not a platform issue. Porsche will be back in WEC in two years guessing based on the Estre loan deal to Toyota only being for 2027 and was down to a bad play in EVs causing massive loss in budgets, and at least LMDh has customers.
@PatrickLizzy3@NicoleOnRacing It wouldn’t. The world exists outside Maranello and Cologne. Acura leaving LMDh is the equivalent of Alpine leaving WEC. Not imploding. And for 2027 you’ll have 5 full time LMDh teams and 4 full time LMH teams, not quite 2 to 1 so I misspoke on that point.
@PatrickLizzy3@NicoleOnRacing It wouldn’t be a massive blow though and it’s comical that people keep thinking it will be.
If LMDh is an unstable platform, why does LMDh outnumber LMH entries 2 to 1 and every new OEM coming in is going LMDh?
Also, newsflash, every OEM always counts the money before entering
@PatrickLizzy3@NicoleOnRacing Top class sportscar racing lived without Ferrari for almost 30 years and it will continue to survive if they decide to take their ball and go home. I credit Toyota for sticking through the end of LMP1 and being here at the start of Hypercar, but it’ll survive if they leave too.
@fiberglasstrout@Oscarsgearbox Looking at your picture you wouldn’t even make it two laps before the G load would cause you to wimp out. Sit down and admire professionals doing their thing.
@RandyGipson15@alishasue71@Acyn The fact there’s so many of you that are so willfully ignorant and allowed to vote, there’s no surprise our country has started spinning around the drain.
@_MrHatty@CharlesWRacing Lmfao I knew that was going to be the video you would use as evidence. Btw Thiim uninstalled ACC after the first time he played it as well. Almost like it’s 100% subjective.
@_MrHatty@CharlesWRacing You’re assuming that a majority of those players want to race GT3s, when that’s simply not the case. I’ve got the experience but much prefer to be in prototypes than GT3s, and prefer GT4s over GT3s as well. I enjoy LMU but it’s not clearing iRacing or making them shake in fear.
@_MrHatty@CharlesWRacing Lmfao there was no blowtorching at all happening. Different people had different opinions. No different than today with different opinions every where you turn. Should we get into the universal shitting on RF2 that happened after Virtual Le Mans 2021? What deal are you on about?
@_MrHatty@CharlesWRacing You’re also comparing 700+ players driving the “entry” class car since LMU doesn’t do anything sportscar related beyond GT3/prototype. You’d have to add all the #s running MX5/GT4 to those doing GT3 because iRacing requires experience before jumping straight to GT3.
@_MrHatty@CharlesWRacing You’re kidding right? By the time the deal was done in Jan ‘21 iRacing had every active GTE except the Aston. In GT3, they had 5 or 6 OEMs, and they had the LMP2. And the licensing is a two way street and if an OEM didn’t want to participate or took a while, that’s not on iRacing
