@SecretaryPete The funniest part about passenger planes: the windows adjoining passenger seats are merely for passenger comfort. When asked of engineers, they said it plainly doesn't make sense to cut holes in a jet's fusilege. They're merely there for comfort.
@StarTribune State penitentiary systems should also look into the iPad share programs that nationwide tests have proved successful among inmates. Contact with the outside world is compassionate care and would do worlds of wonder for morale.
@FrederickMelo I would be all for you doing investigative restaurant reviews as op-eds. Not to offend or expose, just a public Yelp! opinion. I like your personal pieces just as well as your reporting.
@LAYS I'd like to see Lay's Ripple Chip Chili Mountain Dew, which is classic Mountain Dew with Red Chili flake for an extra kick! Dippable chips into classic French Onion dip. Mmmm nom!
@WCCO@kare11@KSTP It looks like the Saintly City Snow Angels are building an app that will allow community involvement in helping people with snow removal. We’ve been especially hard hit this season, and these ‘snow angels’ are eager to help. Please see the Facebook page below.
@NewRockstars@eavoss - I would love a video tour of your nearest comic book store! I have two in my town until the smaller closed, about a year ago. But, I would encourage anyone who sees superhero movies to visit their local comic book store. Grand experience, and supports local business!
@NewRockstars That "comic book (and/or 'Superhero') movies are "silly." That's from my mom. Yet, when I was young I was shown the world of comic books via X-Men. And, I can't imagine a life without them, silly or not.
@TastingHistory1 I am so interested in what third-class passengers ate for meals, as well. In fact, I'm interested in what 'below deck' was for the second and third classes! (Take that, Bravo channel!)
@BBCBreaking Russia is not a member of the ICC, and neither is the USA. Xi is brokering a unilateral trade deal with debt-free Russia now that the US has dropped the TPP. Good-bye USA in favor of China's nuclear subs in the Black Sea.
At the time, the highest tax bracket was for income over $400,000. This was nearly the highest tax rate for top earners in the century, just under the 94 percent rate for income over $200,000 instated during World War II under Franklin D. Roosevelt's presidency. In 1954, the 92 percent marginal rate decreased to 91 percent under Eisenhower.
