@CaudilloXIV How many are physically free, yet mind-jailed?
Same with Japan: tourists complain about Japanese people speaking Japanese and about Japanese rules... in Japan.
They crave difference while eating the same thing over and over and over. It's as fascinating as it is scary.
@Msamalam It's impossible to grasp for someone who's never been there.
A truly miraculous mess of textures and patterns accessible only to the brave. I've tried to explain it many times but you have to feel it.
And suddenly chaos becomes the most beautiful thing you have ever seen.
@freadyisready @PrinceEliii It's worse, guys. Everyone is hunting rats in the streets to eat and every building could collapse at any moment... I live there and it's HELL.
@memechaotic You are blessed with a simple place where you can find everything you ever needed and will ever need, in near-infinite abundance.
And as a gift from Fate, the sky there is beautiful?
Grocery stores are not just scenic.
It's a miracle.
@SchizofromChi @CategoryHeel@SopranosWorld This social mobility was real, but the economic miracle was built on the blood and sacrifices of 100 million people during the world wars. Even though it led to prosperity in the end, it left deep and unforgettable traumatic scars in society. We can't give up.
@CategoryHeel@SopranosWorld The world always has been a complete mess.
We are really just dancing in a hurricane.
And so were our ancestors, while craving for food.
That's the beauty of life: thriving against every odds.
@kantan_japan Foreigners are 3% of Japan's population.
Let's say 50% of them play video games.
You want a special VIP price for 1,5% of Japan's population?
Solution for them: learn the language of the country they leave in and save $133.
@GearoidReidy As a French, I’m baffled by the love Japanese have for us.
France is great but can be way more challenging to visit. Japan is cleaner, safer, more organized and just as beautiful.
But their cheese sucks so...
@NecktieSalvage He is not muscular but his bank account is absolutely protein-packed with money.
Most men, especially the younger ones, don't have either his insane status or gigantic bank account, so they don't have the luxury to stay frail like him and need to strive otherwise.
@Francois_Ruffin Elden Ring, Half-Life 2, Chrono Trigger, Skyrim : ont-ils été subventionnés ?
Non.
