The gallery is still open and the lights are still on. Some of you left through the gift shop, the rest of you are standing in front of the red wing with your arms crossed, which is exactly where a curator wants you.
The guard at the gallery now has a nickname for me. It is not flattering, but he laminated it, so I am counting that as my first piece in a permanent collection.
Spent an hour in a gallery today arguing with a guard about whether a blank canvas counts as a painting. He said it was a wall. I bought the postcard anyway and asked if the wall had a gift shop.
