@ripsapp Lite-Paper (https://t.co/3nM1WR8u3W)가 나왔네요. 저는 원래 Gamification 혹은 Game 기반 프로젝트에는 회의적인 편이긴 하지만 파캐스트를 사랑하는 사람으로서 간단히 정리해봅니다.

RIPS를 하는 이유

RIPS 팩을 열어보면 기대값이 약 90% 수준을 체감할 수 있습니다. 그럼에도 사람들이 RIPS를 하는 이유는 무엇일까요?
저는 굳이 찾자면 게이미파이드 구조(레어,대박 수집, 소셜) 때문일 것으로 생각합니다. 이는 절대로 단순한 코인 매수로는 절대 제공할 수 없는 영역입니다.

또한 이 구조 덕분에 많은 프로젝트들이 RIPS를 하나의 마케팅 채널로 인식하게 되고,
이 참여가 다시 RIPS 생태계를 활성화시키는 선순환을 만들 수도 있습니다.

토큰은 왜 필요한가?

라이트페이퍼는 토큰이 필요한 이유를 명확히 3가지로 설명합니다.

1) How value accrues to $RIPS
프로토콜의 수수료와 가치가 $RIPS에 귀속되도록 설계되었음

2) Rewards & In-App Benefits
유저 보상/참여 인센티브를 제공하는 핵심

3) Protocol Fee Model
Packs/Swaps 등 수수료 구조가 토큰 경제와 직접 연결되어 있음

토큰 가격은 유지될까?

프로토콜 활동에서 발생하는 모든 Fee가 토큰 가치로 귀속되며, 사용자 참여가 많아질수록 토큰 Utility 수요가 증가하고 보상/혜택/수수료 구조를 모두 토큰과 연결한 Value Accrual 모델이기 때문에

생태계가 커질수록 토큰 가치가 강화되도록 설계된 구조입니다. 다만 가능하게 하기 위해서는 정말로 Well-structured 된 제품/토큰 구조가 완성되어야 합니다.

개인적인 의견

저는 @farcaster_xyz 신봉자로서 RIPS도 당연히 참여합니다. 하지만 Game/Gamification 모델에 대해 기본적으로 부정적인 편이라, 명확한 Product/Model Value가 없는 현재까지는 부정적이네요.

그래도 파캐스트라면 다 할꺼야~
