@ChronandEcho Nothing wrong with e-scooters.
The thing this trial is telling us is that people like them, they use them and they need better places to be able to leave them when they are not in use.
This issue wouldn’t occur with privately owned scooters.
@sabback@JoeBiden But what if they did? What if learning a skill or profession wasn’t a financial burden on anyone?
What would those people do with that money? Spend it locally? Employee addition staff? Expand their business?
Surely that’s better than giving it to a financial institution?
@lmfaoitsjoeyy The point of protest is to raise visibility and keep the issue in the public eye.
I’d say that this has done exactly that. And expanded the visibility.
I’d say it’s a win.
@troyhunt This is one of those sounds worse than it is.
The electoral role is available for purchase which probably cover 70% of the data taken.
As it’s names and address only, the rest is probably available from other breaches already.
@Conservativeind@KamalaHarris Yes. This is how laws work.
Someone did something inherently stupid, so society decided that to prevent it happening again by implementing a law to prevent it.
This isn’t just a gun issue, it’s a civilised society cornerstone.
