Totally hear your frustration - we are seeing games find more success under the new Discover changes, even if not every island released is surfaced the same. Promoting your island to your audience helps build those engagement signals that make new islands more likely to appear as impressions accumulate.
In next week’s livestream we will be addressing new and updated content, and how we plan to continue to improve it for developers.
@TrickTyger I saw your last post and spent an afternoon on the weekend trying to figure this out. My solution is a little less slick where if it fails to add, I spawn it in front of the player
but now games like Bank Heist and our own (Prison Escape) are rank #118 in Adventure and #95 in Survival respectively. The only thing keeping this category alive is sponsorship and the Star Wars callout where there has only been 15 maps. Please listen to us

There is a serious problem with Discover which keeps being pushed aside. A month a go, the roguelike category was growing into a cool space with lots of innovation. Now there is no incentive. Even when the new discover changes happened, the top roguelikes were performing okay...
@TrickTyger@Gneazyx Retention is also such a challenging factor. Story games are amazing (like Split Fiction) but it would have terrible retention because you only do it once maybe twice. Been very disappointing
