Anyway, Biopics can be interesting, they can be compelling, they can be engrossing and they can be enjoyable. Lisabi was not any of these things…I should not have to carry out a “research” to enjoy a film.

@NgMovies_Review It would have been nice for the men to be scared at first. But then, we could have seen them evolve into warriors. Not scared men all through the training.

@NgMovies_Review And there was a man just dancing behind him, that could have easily taken him down, was poor choreographed. Unrealistic! Then we see the spirits training Lisabi's men. All we saw were the spirits terrifying the men. The transition from scared men to warriors was lost.

@NgMovies_Review To be very honest, I got bored. Like you rightly pointed out, costuming was great. Set design, awesome. They depicted the Yoruba culture well. But the lack of transition from Lisabi the farmer to Lisabi the hero was lost. Sokenu, killing 10 men?
