Meeting with the President of Maldives, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, was an excellent opportunity to discuss the value of mobile phone data in designing and executing public services.
Thank you, Rector Toomas Asser, for inviting me to the @unitartu delegation!
What an honour to meet the President of Maldives @MMuizzu and share Mobility Lab’s research experience on using mobile telecom data for social good! Researchers Age Poom and Velle Toll accompanied @unitartu Rector to discuss potential collaborations. https://t.co/Vyv1vglIWc

Some of us are working on the EU Interreg Central Baltic Programme-funded Cycle4Climate project. But what do @agepoom , @VeronikaMooses and @EliseJalonen do in this project? What are they most looking forward to in the next 3 years? Find out on our blog: https://t.co/2TRrJZIvtU
Delft and Utrecht welcomed us this week to meet with V2G-QUESTS project partners and discuss vehicle-to-grid solutions linked to car-sharing or major renovation. Age and Daiga presented ongoing research in Tartu but there was so much to learn from real-life advances in Utrecht!
The absolute highlight of this week's social action at work was celebrating Ago's and Hanna-Ingrid's recent marriage! Warmest congratulations, dear friends and colleagues! 😍💖🎊
This week offered a great start to the following years together in the @DNSUNSET by meeting the newly recruited PhD candidates and discussing joint research and training plans. Leuven as a university city was such a fitting venue for this!

Always fun to see @mattzook in Tartu. This time, he also gave a research seminar on Blockchain Real Estate, a critical look at where the blockchain communities are heading.
One of the spring signs in Tartu is the visit by Prof Matthew Zook from Kentucky when he lectures in our graduate course Geography, Communication and Spatial Mobility. This year, @mattzook can enjoy the European Capital of Culture also in June during the Mobile Tartu Conference!
The SUNSET supervisors are gathering in Leuven for two days of discussions and planning of the @DNSUNSET! Setting everything up for an exciting training and research program for our (to be hired) 10 Doctoral Candidates @MSCActions
Morning oasis in Leuven. Gorgeous smells, bird song, and views - a perfect start for the MSCA @DNSUNSET kick-off meeting as the project is much about green transition of cities. PhD candidates at @unitartu / @UT_moblab will work on knowledge transition between unis and cities.
