This original post only holds true if you want those things to be valued and consumed by others.

Through commissions and being in the art/gamedev community overall, I've met countless people with OCs, stories and scenarios, which reallistically speaking, might not have any of the talents, time or resources necessary to develop into fully-fledged projects as they'd like (myself included), but that doesn't stop anyone from imagining and creating.

No matter if it's though media you create yourself, commissioning artists, or just developing those ideas in your mind; even if it's all for yourself, it has value.
As long as it gives you moments of happyness to live through life, nothing is worthless.
