I love @elonmusk but I believe he has set up @SpaceX for long term failure with the mega IPO based on VC growth economics. From a people standpoint, the Vc structure works bcz there is capital lock in during company upturns/downturns, so everyone has incentive to continue working.

For a public stock already trading at 5 years outcome horizon, incentives have to structurally different. Ow their future outcomes is already priced in - every tactical failure and success will have employees looking for the exit.

People and Capital deployment still make or break companies in long term. He need to solve for the people again.
