The student discourse today was next level. Students discovered/determined Fixed vs Variable expenses and sorted themselves on sides of the room. Sometimes movement and discourse is all you need to drive home the learning. @MissCGiron

My favorite thing about building social contracts is seeing what words kids come up with and what that word means to them.

Understanding: don’t get mad at a small disagreement, everyday is a fresh start.

One of my favorite activities to do for #teambuilding in the classroom is “flip the sheet”. Kids have to work together to flip the sheet over without anyone falling off. Kids learn the importance of communication, working together, and that we can do things that seem impossible.
