Mr. Musk, yes, no billionaire should dictate a nation’s policy - Indian or American.

India must welcome competition in satellite internet, from Indian and global providers, whoever offers the most practical and affordable last-mile solution for those in remote regions. In countries with lower per-capita incomes, satellite internet must be affordable too. High subscription fees and equipment costs risk putting it beyond the reach of ordinary households. Connectivity must bridge the digital divide, not create a new one.

India knows our networks and spectrum are strategic infrastructure, not merely commercial assets. India’s national security safeguards are non-negotiable.

Every country makes choices based on its own interests. Those in the West cannot preach free markets while practicing protectionism at home. USA imposed 100% tariffs on Chinese EVs to protect its domestic industry, just as India takes measures to protect its own domestic manufacturers. Both India and the US have restricted Huawei over security concerns. One cannot demand a level playing field from others only when it suits its own agenda.

Indians will internally debate, question and address our strengths and shortcomings as a democratic country.

Take BharatNet, India’s programme to bring broadband to village-level local bodies. We will question why, as the CAG’s 2026 audit report found, the programme is struggling to meet its original objectives. Why were only 33.2% of service-ready Gram Panchayats operational, despite ₹39,888 crore being spent? At the same time, we know to appreciate our telecom sector and regulations, which has made internet data among the world’s most affordable, bringing millions online.

India is a democracy, not a colony. We welcome the world, but we, the Indian people, will decide our own future - not Western vested interests, their double standards or any billionaire - Indian or American.

Namaste @annamalai_k avl, I don’t know what is your final decision. However, I can see that your decision is going to be of great long lasting consequences.

You raised a great hope for many of us (I am from Gujarat & Mumbai) not only for Tamizhnadu but also for Bharat.

If you leave BJP and take a separate path, you’ll confine yourself to be just to TN. If you remain in BJP, I am sure you’ll be the CM of TN in near future and then you’ll have a realistic chance to lead our country at the Center.

Creating one more regional party that is going to be potentially dynastic as per inherent nature of individualistic parties, you may be able to come to power in TN sooner and of course do good to the Tamilnadu people. However, the country as a whole will miss your leadership.

For super talented & forthright person like you, creation of own party leaving BJP means leaving the sea and confining yourself to a lake. This also has long term loss for Tamizhnadu as the state may take decades to experience the rule of the truly non-dynastic, democratic National party.

I sincerely feel that you have not shown the धैर्य (patience) that is required for a person in political field. Challenges, compromises, downgrades at times are all part and parcel of politics. You have the enormous advantage of being close to Modi ji and Mota bhai both. In current scenario, except you, i don’t see anyone was entertained by the duo to this extent. It shows that they both need you. You are their hope in TN. As TN assembly elections are behind now, I am sure they both will give you freedom you need in TN. The gigantic party machinery of BJP and RSS will back you. It may take another decade for you to get BJP to power but that has to happen provided you don’t call quits now. You’ve just spent 6/7 years in politics which is hardly a time spent! If you remain committed to BJP and her Sanatan Hindu ideology, I am completely sure that you’ll be able to change the psyche of TN people and get BJP in power. And when that happens, you’ll be become National hero and then sky is the limit!

So dear Anna, meditate on Arunachala (Annamalai) and seek the clarity before you take any decision because as I said, the decision is going to have long standing consequences.

Consider Modi ji, Mota bhai, BJP & RSS and their struggle to pull our country out of pits. Be with them.

The reason I am suggesting this is that his Tajak Varshaphal chart for 2026-27 has 5th lord Rahu in 5th and lagna lord Venus and 9th lord Mercury in 9th. That chart takes effect at the time above. His Tithi Pravesh chart for 2026-27 also has 5th lord Rahu in 5th.

PS: I never made such suggestions/requests in the past for anyone else. But I am 100% confident that Annamalai ji is a sincere, selfless, dharmik & highly competent leader with deep love for TN & India. I am also confident that praying for his success is highly dharmik and WILL benefit TN and India, IRRESPECTIVE of whether he leads a new party that aligns with BJP later or remains with BJP after some drama and a fortified image pleasing people of TN.

PPS: You can start earlier than the time I mentioned and end later than the time I mentioned, but the actual time the new solar/lunar year starts for him is in the middle of the window I gave.
