I just heard somebody recommend that you should break up a highly-functioning team so that the members can serve as 'seeds' for other teams. I think this is a *really* bad idea. A highly functioning team is gold. Why would you throw that away? 1/
Software is crap because we forced to make irrevocable decisions (eg. what tech to adopt) at a time when we know the least about the problem we're solving (in the beginning).
