We need to swallow our pride and massage Trump's ego. The future of the world depends on it.

Let's be practical. We may think that Trump has done a stupid thing where the best we can hope for is a humiliating defeat for Israel and the US, and the worst is nuclear holocaust. Yes, that thought is real. Keep it to yourself.

Spread, instead, the ego-massaging narrative that Trump needs. We need for Trump to feel like a hero, because if he doesn't, he might blow us all up.

Spread the story that what Trump did was brilliant and courageous, and only Trump could have pulled it off. Now he has set the stage for deep change in Iran, and the next brilliant move for Trump will be to be patient, stop hostilities, and trust that in time his swift, surgical strike will have its desired effect.
