As we celebrate Earth Day, we are reminded sustainability is central to our mission at Elder Care Alliance. We want to celebrate our communities' accomplishments since our Green 2030 initiative launched last year.

We’re ready for Earth Day tomorrow at AlmaVia of San Francisco! 🌱🌏 Resident planted seeds. We’ll watch our little plants grow over the next few months. We can’t wait to see who has the best green thumb.

This #EarthDay2021 I would like to celebrate my colleagues at @ElderCareAll who have embedded #EnvironmentalWellness into the core well-being framework that supports our work with older adults and those who care for them.

To prevent the next pandemic, we must fix US public health infrastructure. Decades of underinvestment led to a patchwork of underfunded and understaffed health departments and out-of-date data systems which weren't equipped to handle a modern-day health crisis.
🍀St. Patrick's Day is next week, and we're getting ready at AlmaVia of Camarillo with another episode of The Fresh Plate with our Culinary Director, Sal Navarro. 🍽
For this farm-to-table experience, we are visiting our local Underwoods Family Farm.🍀

"Americans will win against the virus and regain many aspects of their pre-pandemic lives, most scientists now believe. Of the 21 interviewed for this article, all were optimistic that the worst of the pandemic is past."

@gdcaplan I'd love to try this with my team too. Would love to see a prompt at the end of these meetings to encourage #foresttherapy - so that folks can associate being outside with more than just more work. :)
Now more than ever, we need to think about our work in new ways. I hope that my newest book with @JKPBooks will encourage creative exploration! #ArtTherapy#creativeart therapy #professionaldevelopment

It was a birthday surprise for our AlmaVia of Camarillo resident Joanne! We surprised her with 18 family members, spanning four generations, on Zoom to celebrate her day! The birthday girl turned 1 this year, according to the candles. As she says, after 80, you just start over.
Some sore arms at AlmaVia of San Rafael. We held our vaccine clinic yesterday. 112 residents were vaccinated!😷❤️💉Thank you to the teams from Marin County PHD and Kaiser who made yesterday a success delivering the vaccine! Oh and there was rainbow shining over AVSR too!
