Just a girl who works in a museum and loves musty, old dead things. (And paperwork of course)

[solstice @rottedcurse]

haven’t seen her on my tl yet so happy international women’s day

@hyunjincrave This photo is so amazing. A great visual on Stan culture.

On behalf of trans STAY, we are disappointed in the decision to do a Harry Potter-themed SKZ Code. JK Rowling has been instrumental in spewing hate speech and influencing/financing anti-trans legislation.

We also condemn the use of generative AI from the graphic team. Sad day.

@grls4megtan @hdjdjsjhubi Not even for the entire museum - just the Costume Institute.

@thatssoamethyst I think the most poignant comment I have seen was “he died on the altar of his creation”

[Mo @agirlnamedmo]

@hannahhbbahng Congratulations on all your hard work!

[Mo @agirlnamedmo]

@dieworkwear My first show I worked on moving back the SF was a variant on this one. Absolutely amazing seeing everything up close and individually.

[Mo @agirlnamedmo]

@CoraCHarrington I worked on the touring Frida Kahlo exhibition that the V&A made mannequins for. Some of the best mannequins I have ever had the pleasure to oversee at install and deinstall.

[Mo @agirlnamedmo]

@AshSean I thought she died at the end of the book and was oddly like that makes sense.

@_BeautyByLMarie Consider an emergency escape fire ladder for a second or third story. And an emergency kit for 72 hours with phone numbers written down.

[Mo @agirlnamedmo]

@nejafeja @the_museumfolk With some temp exhibition budgets, literally!

[Mo @agirlnamedmo]

@the_museumfolk Anything outside of the Getty because they made the architect listen? Horrible. Or just not even there.

[Mo @agirlnamedmo]

@megataros Archery!

This has come up from a bunch of folks lately, so I just need to get it off my chest- if you’re a museum manager and your style of management is to berate, belittle, gaslight, or be dictatorial because that is how you were managed, you have no right being in charge of humans.

@samsanders @ZachStafford @theferocity Cannot wait for that to hit the feed

[Mo @agirlnamedmo]

@lindaholmes I leave the jar upside down for a day and find it easier to stir then

If you’re a name brand museum and your only hook is that you’re a name brand museum, rethink your shit.

The 1914 Chevalier map is a great one for where I would expect to see flooding today, very predictable low points on old creek beds. (plus, it's a beautiful map that I love very much!) #sfhistory #SanFrancisco https://t.co/k3XRKN7ePP
