Now at https://t.co/NhsfazJmol, Mophat Okinyi asks, why are the data workers so poor as Sama, the data labeling company that boasted about "positively impacting" their lives, kept on getting so rich ๐ค ?
This project is a MUST for anyone using, working with, and/or investigating AI. We must learn and listen to the stories behind tools like ChatGPT. There is no AI without data, and the data workers behind AI deserve respect and ethical, human, treatment. https://t.co/Ka4HTch4jz
Join us at the launch of Data Workers' Inquiry on July 8 at 8am PDT/5pm CET, executed by 15 data workers in 4 continents. Find zines, reports, documentaries, podcasts & more with insights that can only be found when workers tell their own stories๐

I visited the Nottingham Castle Museum last year, and they had a hall dedicated to the Luddites. I was struck by the connection and relevancy to modern days!
