🌱 What happens when climate finance meets community action?
After six years and a USD 32 million investment, the Green Gicumbi Project has transformed lives, restored ecosystems, strengthened climate resilience, and created sustainable livelihood opportunities for thousands of Rwandans.
From restoring degraded forests and supporting climate-smart agriculture to relocating vulnerable families and empowering local cooperatives, the project has become a model for climate-resilient development in #Africa.
As the project concludes, leaders and communities are united around one message: the real success of Green Gicumbi will be measured by how well its achievements are preserved for future generations.
