Good to see youth feeding into the LCOY process ahead of COP31.

[SHIMO @ShimoYvette]

I’ll always love moments that remind us that protecting our planet is not someone else’s responsibility. It belongs to all of us 🥳

Today, I joined an amazing climate action in Nzahaha, Rusizi District, to launch Rwanda Climate Month 2026!

This activity is being conducted in partnership with @ARCOSNetwork , @LCOYRWANDA26, local government authorities, and other partners. Bringing together young people, farmers, local leaders, and environmental champions

Planting 2,500 trees today across 5 hectares is a beautiful step towards protecting our environment.

And those trees we planted today? I hope that one day, they will stand tall, protect our land, and remind us of the day we chose to do something rather than just talk about it.

The future is in our hands, and today, we put a little more hope into the ground.
