I’d only ask the State to draw clear redlines for these parallel structures for effective governance. Ambiguity is what allows the State to impede these structures from ever being successful in their goals.
Also, not every very parallel structure is necessarily a good thing for the country as a whole. So, there need to be clear conditions for the structures to exist in the first place- defined by the government.
@theskindoctor13 No. They need to be empowered to let go of some career bureaucrats after due process. The political leadership exists to exercise executive power in ministries.
How often are our 1000 IQ Babus fired from their jobs?
@Windsofchange72 Petty people should not be allowed within sighting distance of even the smallest amount of power that they can exercise over others. Good for this girl and her dad. If I was the dad, I’d have gone ahead and done a POSCO case on the nun after making her grovel.
@Iyervval@sushantsareen@smitaprakash Tell him that Pakis are our Bronze Age cousins. Tell him that our shared roots should be explored through joint cultural efforts. Ask him to sing a Punjabi song that celebrates this Endia-Pakstan brotherhood.
If something is to be said of Skandā/Kandan in Tamiḻ Nadu, it’s this: change the war-cry of the Madras Regement.
“Veera Madrassi, Adi Kollu, Adi Kollu, Adi Kollu!”, it seems.
It should instead be “Vetrivel! Vīravel!”- the war-cry of Tamiḻs during various eras, and something that resonates with the Muruga Bhakti of the people.
