Following the discovery of the wreck of Pan American Flight 526A, this is a good time share my research paper, published by @MDPIOpenAccess, in which I used deep learning to help detect wrecks in high resolution data from Autonomous Underwater Vehicles. https://t.co/EHnRNyGHAv
@elizanow1@LabratSR@Ocean__Infinity No doubt OI pushes the limits for underwater exploration, but saying it uses quantum computing for data analysis is perhaps exaggeration. People will write any difficult fancy term that looks complex just for clicks. Anyways, I wish all the best in the search for MH370.
@MattWallace888 That’s simply an Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (AUV). They’re basically underwater drones. I bet the model is a MK18 or a navy version of the AUV Gavia. For the guy mad in the video, wrecking an equip like that can be a bit of a shame and frustrating. They’re expensive as hell
The #OceanExplorationCooperativeInstitute’s mission is to explore, map, and characterize the nation’s vast ocean territory, to develop and implement new technologies, and to engage future generations of ocean scientists, engineers, and stakeholders: https://t.co/avfnhRcxqu
