Kaufman was no longer allowed to continue on live broadcast. Closed session instead.

Now, the love of your people is a liability. The ICC is treating the unwavering loyalty of your constituents—and indeed, the entire nation—as evidence against you. This perverse turn of events is a victory for the political rivals who wanted you eliminated for good.

This decision further casts doubts on the ICC’s credibility. Despite Duterte’s advanced age and lingering illnesses, despite ICC member countries providing assurances and agreeing to the terms of the requested interim release, the ICC deemed it proper to keep him in detention. And with the indefinite postponement of the confirmation of charges due to his memory loss, Duterte is essentially condemned to suffer and spend the remaining days of his life in prison.

Do you see the demolition jobs being made against the minority in the Senate? There is Sen Jinggoy and Sen Joel. Then Sen Marcoleta (re BRC and was in fact first removed), then former SP Chiz.

Then the current chair of BRC resigned

Over the weekend, there was Sen Risa (part of majority c/o of a broadcaster) and then Sen Go (courtesy of the official barker). Then Go and Dela Rosa on ICC (c/o of defeated mayoralty candidate).

Meanwhile Co travels around the globe. A former speaker is requesting for a travel order of 14 days. And another is traveling in same space as Co and former speaker. What are the odds?

It’s no secret that this govt is desperate to end Sara’s political career. After Marcos admin’s trillion-peso insertions— to bribe the Congress—was squashed by both the High Court & the Senate, this security change is yet another move to weaken her political position by removing key personnel loyal to her. This move is in line with Remulla’s appointment as Ombudsman. It’s a loyalty check and a political power play rolled into one.

Sara fought hard during the first half of this saga and kept the Duterte political capital intact. Next round should be no different.
