@BBTeamNorth I think a lot of people hate him for being too cocky but I really think it’s just part of his act/strategy. He usually plays from the bottom so he acts chaotic to make people wary of targeting him

@Snaqdragon YES thank you for articulating this. It’s so hard to write this archetype without it feeling incredibly performative/not authentic. Genuinely can’t even think off the top of my head of any other characters that perfectly walk the line of total jackass loser and still endearing

@GooseworxMusic I’m a typically critical person when it comes to most media, but tadc is almost flawless to me— which is NOT something I say lightly. My only critique (and it’s a stupid one) is that I wish we had more episodes devoted to exploring the nuanced character dynamics and motivations

@GooseworxMusic For instance, I still don’t fully understand how Jax (who’s emotionally unavailable) suddenly got very close to Pomni. They barely interact in the first 4 episodes, but in episode 5 they prefer talking to each other over everyone else during the downtime

@GooseworxMusic There’s a lot of downtime left to the imagination, and it feels as though there’s been a time skip to cover for some development off screen or in the past. And that’s certainly not a bad thing, but sometimes it doesn’t feel like there’s enough buildup to justify an action
