Had an amazing time visiting with @RicardoTaniwaki and his students at @ufabc. As a student of @hildug, I had to add a little PSA about salting our ponds and lakes @WiscLimnology.
Urban ponds and a snowy Secchi. Being @agorsky’s field assistant for a day let me see Madison waters from a new perspective during a new season. I can also attest that she provides the best snacks for her helpers!
📢 Recruiting a grad student to investigate freshwater salinization @WiscLimnology. Please share with any budding limnologists out there! It's going to be a great project with a mix of field/lab/modeling and ample opportunities for outreach.
