On the science of group size: 2-3 is optimal. Anything bigger tan that, and voices are missing from the conversation. #BackToBasics

Here ya go: this is a link to an explainer post on my Summer's math project. It's a bank of a school year's worth of warm ups intended to help teachers and students bridge 5th and 6th grade. #matheducation #middleschoolmath #elementarymath

@UPS can I get some assistance? My account t won’t let me in despite typing the correct password, chat reps are busy, and emailing your company requires login, but I cannot. I just need to find out where I can pick up a package because of dates being changed, no ability to adjust

@saravdwerf This changed my perspective as an instructor, moderator, and advisor. And the @benorlin book with the math Games! And The Number Devil (my favorite book to teach 6th graders)!

Flight, fight or freeze?

Stop and think. If you’re self-aware and disciplined to do it, it’s powerful.

The best way to regulate anger is not to vent right away. It’s to calm down first.

154 studies: Deep breathing, meditation & yoga are better antidotes to aggression than yelling, punching & running.

Anger management is about lowering your heart rate, not raising it. Relaxing reduces rage.

@Hertz Rented a car from 9a 10/21 to 2p 10/25 in LAS, per the UI on their website. Contract stated pick up at 9p at the when I arrived and they wanted to charge an extra day. Asked who to call to get issue addressed— called and they say talk to agent. Crappy user experience.
