- It then labels anyone trying to restore legality under int'l law as "revisionist," flipping the roles of aggressor and defender. In doing so, it tries to frame Greece as a revisionist power.
Let's not waste our time with them, force is the only thing they understand.

Turkey's strategy in the Aegean Sea is based on Chinese practices in the South China Sea.
- TR creates "facts on the ground" and repeats them until they become the new normal.

Why now? Turkey is ramping up the pressure because it feels it has the upper hand, betting that Athens won't dare challenge its claims on the ground, expand its territorial waters, or declare an EEZ.

In the area between Rhodes and Kastellorizo, they isolate Kastellorizo and its surrounding islands from the rest of the Greek island domain.
Environmental protection is weaponized as a tool for geopolitical revisionism.

A senior figure in the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) has criticized the scope of Turkey’s first law passed as part of a renewed Kurdish peace process, saying its narrow focus on the laying down of arms cannot resolve the country’s decades-old Kurdish issue, BirGün daily reported.

⚠️According to data published by the Archipelagos Institute of Marine Conservation, four Turkish trawlers operated for at least a week in the waters between Samos, Fournoi, Arki, Patmos and Agathonisi. Using a small area of international waters south of Samos as their base, they repeatedly entered Greek territorial waters to fish illegally-even within protected marine areas.
❌This is not ordinary fishing:
it is a blatant violation of Greek sovereignty, Greek law and marine protections. By plundering fish stocks during the annual recovery period and destroying fragile seabed ecosystems that took thousands of years to form, these vessels are causing potentially irreversible ecological damage. Such systematic lawlessness demands immediate enforcement, accountability and unequivocal condemnation.
🆘For years, scientists have warned that the Aegean is approaching the limits of what it can withstand. Overfishing, climate change and the degradation of marine ecosystems are placing ever-increasing pressure on one of the Mediterranean’s richest yet most vulnerable marine environments.
