Employees of National land center Kigali organized and visited the families of the victims of Genocide against Tutsi, in Nyarugenge District. they provided food items and other domestic utensils. This is good initiative to help the needy.
AGPF members has promised to keep on offering public lectures to community aiming to eradicating genocide ideology emphasis shall be on youth, both parents and teachers are advised to have moral values of not feeding genocide ideology to their children.
REB in partnership with other stakeholders, they are have started to make some research on writing books on genocide against Tutsi and avail them in public libraries, keep on regular capacity building of different stake holders on genocide ideology
He also mentioned some challenges they encounter in implementing the policy of fighting genocide ideology:
- Some teachers and Parents do not tell the truth to their children due to the history of our country some may be directly and indirectly involved.
The REB representative said that in bid to fight against genocide ideology, in their internal policy they laid some strategy in this regard, these are:
- Prepare lessons/syllabus related to genocide ideology
- Form Anti genocide clubs in every schools.
Today 17/6/2019, on Radiyo Rwanda Inteko members of AGPF together with representative from Rwanda Education Board held a discussion related to the role of education in eradicating the genocide ideology in the Community. however, the emphasis was on youth
The discussants concluded by recommending that joint efforts of different stake holders to fight against genocide ideology across the whole country is vital, but major emphasis be put in youth as future leaders with vision of not having a divided society.
They all agreed that due to advanced technology, youth are fetching false and segregative messages on social media by genocide deniers, hence a basis to carry out massive mobilization with aim to educate youth about the true history of our country.
On 6th May 2019, on Radiyo Rwanda Inteko AGPF-Rwanda in partnership with National youth council, and AERG held a discussion with a theme: The role of mobilization in youth to fight against genocide ideology. Youth are focused on b'se there are mostly used.
Genocide survivors are worried of big numbers of killers to be released after serving their sentence. some were planners of genocide who may likely to cause it again. some predict that it is a chance to show where they dumped bodies of their beloved ones.

The presenters concluded by recommending that:
-Youth needs to be educated the reality of Rwandan history
- Fighting genocide ideology should appear on every stakeholders agenda (Action plan)
- To have consultative conference on the genocide ideology
Pastor Rutayisire Antoine suggested that church leaders and their followers in their respective doctrine to join hands and fight against genocide among Rwandans. AGPF has emphasized to continue to cooperate with various stakeholders to fight this cause.
The invitees were Senator Harerimana Fatou, Hon Mutesi Anitha (AGPF members) , and Rev Pastor Rutayisire Antoine from Anglican Church. all commented that during genocide against Tutsi, some church members had a visible role in implementation of it.
This Morning on Radio Rwanda Inteko the Forum for Parliamentarians to fight against Genocide ideology (AGPF-Rwanda) together with a stake holders had a lecture, on theme: the role of civil society (Faith organizations) to fight against genocide ideology.
Catholic Church after being attacked for the message they delivered to release very old and sick yet participated in Genocide against Tutsi, revised their position, requested for apology to survivors of Genocide, apology lacked some required ingredients.
CNLG & IBUKA still stands firm on their position for the message that was announced by Catholic church, to release those who participated in Genocide against Tutsi, because of being old and sick. this was regarded as being partners of genocide deniers.
Deniers of Genocide against Tutsi of 1994, use different means to do so. therefore, fighting and preventing them from further contaminating the build society, needs new approach and unique strategy, but the best strategy would be joining every ones efforts.
The leadership of Catholic church has asked for forgiveness to the entire family of Genocide Survivors for the offended message they uttered to release the old case, and sick one who are in prison due to their participation in genocide against Tutsi in 1994.
