Something folks are missing here: this raid wasn’t about “illegals taking American jobs.” It was about ICE storming the Hyundai–LG battery plant in Georgia, part of a $7.6B Metaplant project that isn’t even operational yet.
They dragged out more than 300 South Korean engineers and specialists. People flown in to help stand the place up so it could eventually employ thousands of Georgians/Americans.
This plant wasn’t scheduled to start running until late 2025 or early 2026. These workers weren’t taking jobs; they were building the factory that would create them.
As a former Israeli Prime Minister, with the Mossad having reported directly to me, I say to you with 100% certainty:
The accusation that Jeffrey Epstein somehow worked for Israel or the Mossad running a blackmail ring is categorically and totally false.
Epstein’s conduct, both the criminal and the merely despicable, had nothing whatsoever to do with the Mossad or the State of Israel.
Epstein never worked for the Mossad.
This accusation is a lie being peddled by prominent online personalities such as Tucker Carlson pretending they know things they don’t.
They just make things up, say it with confidence and these lies stick, because it’s Israel.
There’s a vicious wave of slander and lies against my country and my people, and we just won’t take it anymore.
@Leafslatest@markhmasters I mean, he also added basically no value on his shifts. Didn’t fight. Didn’t scare anyone. Was slow. Grenade like with the puck. Otherwise, Leafs should have played him for sure. I’m sure he’s a great dude and still excellent at hockey. But maybe not at quality NHL level anymore
Correspondence to an MP.
Just want to highlight a few things & give some clarity to folks about it.
I welcome feedback & happy to try to answer any questions folks have about day-to-day life on the Hill.

First point about correspondence:
1) If you're not from the riding we don't care.
@simmonssteve I'd also add his management/business team to the list. I think his dad is part of that. The brands he partnered with seemed like not authentic fits. Didn't seem genuine. I can't recall him being the main focus of a top-tier brand at all. Happy to be corrected.
Sinatra said it best
And now the end is near
And so I face the final curtain
My friend I'll say it clear
I'll state my case of which I'm certain
I've lived a life that's full
I traveled each and every highway
And more, much more than this
I did it my way!!

The National Holocaust Memorial is a solemn and sacred place in Ottawa designed to honour the millions of innocent people who were murdered under the Nazi regime and to recognize the significant contributions of Holocaust survivors in Canada. It’s shocking and disturbing to see it defaced today. Protests and demonstrations are an essential part of our democracy. Disfiguring a sacred monument in a way that will traumatize victims, survivors and their families is not.
I am reaching out to Ottawa’s Jewish community and other faith leaders, and to the Ottawa Police Service. Let’s continue to unite together as a community to fight against hatred in all its forms.
A disgusting and cowardly act — Canada’s National Holocaust Monument was defaced overnight.
Parliament is just steps away — that’s where dissent belongs. Defacing sacred ground in honour of the millions of victims of the Holocaust in the middle of the night with spray paint isn’t protest, it’s vandalism.
Someone this pathetic deserves to be identified and held accountable.
PSA to youth hockey parents.. if a spring/summer tournament doesn’t cost an outrageous amount of money, involve an obnoxious amount of travel time, the word elite isn’t used 16 times, and it doesn’t say “Great exposure for your 9 year old” it just isn’t worth it. #QuadAHockey
I am so deeply angry over the murder of these beautiful young people.
Sarah Milgrim was gunned down simply for being a Jew outside a Jewish event. She had devoted her life to building bridges — working with Tech2Peace to bring young Israelis and Palestinians together through dialogue and technology.
The killer knew nothing about her compassion, her commitment to peace, or the values she lived by. He saw a Jew and decided she didn’t deserve to live.
Yaron Lischinsky had a Jewish father and a Christian mother. He was a practicing Christian who chose to tie his fate to the people of Israel. From a young age, he dreamed of becoming an Israeli diplomat — and he was living that dream.
The murderer didn’t care about his ideals, his love for others, or his belief in coexistence. He saw someone tied to Israel — and pulled the trigger.
York Regional Police say they will increase their presence around synagogues, schools and community centres to “ensure public safety” after two staff members of the Israeli Embassy in Washington were shot and killed

Canada’s Jewish community awoke heartbroken to the news of murder of two Israeli embassy staff members — Sarah Milgrim and Yaron Lischinsky — at the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C. We mourn with the victims’ families, their loved ones, and the entire people of Israel. May their memories be for a blessing.
We also extend our condolences to our colleagues at @AJCGlobal whose event—focused on addressing humanitarian needs in the Middle East—was brutally attacked.
As we await further details about this horrific crime, reports that the assailant shouted “free Palestine” speak to the danger of the intensifying rhetoric targeting our community. What happened in Washington is the result of the predictable pattern of growing hate and incitement targeting Jews in North America.
While our community is resilient, this should be a wake up call to all governments about the urgent need for action. This includes strengthening laws to tackle the open support for terrorism taking place in Canadian streets and enhancing measures to secure Jewish institutions here in Canada.
Yaron and Sarah were our friends and colleagues. They were in the prime of their lives.
This evening, a terrorist shot and killed them as they exited an event at the Capital Jewish Museum in DC.
The entire embassy staff is heartbroken and devastated by their murder. No words can express the depth of our grief and horror at this devastating loss.
Our hearts are with their families, and the embassy will be by their side during this terrible time.
Shocked by news about the killing of Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim in Washington last night.
This isn’t “pro-Palestinian”—it’s pro-terrorism. It’s murder, plain and simple: immoral, inhumane, and indefensible.
I am heartbroken by the cold-blooded murder of Yaron and Sarah, two young Israeli diplomats, last night in D.C.
Political, targeted, antisemitic violence is horrifying.
These acts of hate must be universally condemned — but more than that, we must take action to keep all communities safe.
