@ATimberlake For anyone else arriving here from Google, I ended up finding out that somehow I had been re-added to the group so I had to leave the group again.
Not sure how to mute pinned posts of communities you want to be a part of.
@ATimberlake I have the same question (found this post from a google search).
I joined a community really just to help someone and now I'm getting constant pinned post notifications even after leaving the group.
For anyone else struggling like me (and you have a Google Business account), you have to go to your admin and in the menu on the left look for "Generative AI". You then can turn it off for everybody in the account.
@AnikinEvgenii Just seeing this post now, yeah, ProductHunt uses algorithms behind the scene so it's hard to know what needs to happen to get featured.
I basically just use ProductHunt now to get a valuable backlink and that's about it.
My PipeRiv project is on ProductHunt today.
I'm really curious about the comments I've received. A lot of them are clearly from bots. For example, one of them said "My MacBook needs this badly."
Are these just botfarms being built up to sell upvotes?
I've been setting up a Twitter list to filter out retweets and replies but now Twitter is giving me a "You arenβt allowed to add this member to this List." after adding 102 people.
Apparently this is one of the daily limits - it sounds like each account has a different limits.
The old inverted pyramid news format really needs to make a come back.
Just read two different articles about the CDC announcing a listeria deli meat outbreak in 12 states. But the articles only specifically named 3 states.
I had to go to the CDC website to find all 12 states.
@stubrown357 Sorry for the late response, I just saw this. I actually use SSH and do all my development on a remote VPS.
I use TMUX to maintain the state of each project. It allows me to hop into any project with any device that has SSH including my phone, but I mainly use my Chromebook.
Most cold outreach recommendations tell you to focus your message on what is in it for the customer: "Use 'you' instead of 'I'" type of advice.
But I'm wondering if we've ended up creating a situation where "you" based messages are now being ignored due to pattern recognition.
Ever wondered why Google Search Console shows more clicks in the chart than it does in the query list?
It looks like they don't show queries that have a small number or queries with sensitive info:

The more open-ended your questions the more open-ended your responses are going to be.
I'm learning that it cold outreach, you need to niche down your questions.
I'm adjusting my sales strategy. Since the tools I'm building are so new, I don't have case studies or reviews.
Instead of focusing on sales, I'm going to focus on building 100 person advisory groups. They will get free access to new builds and discounts on premium features.
