Kathy Hastings, director of outreach and communications at the NC State Education Assistance Authority to the counselors at our regional training: “You are the ones who see the light in our students even when they forget to see their own light.” #cfnc@ForsythTechCC
JuanEs Ramirez, associate outreach director for special populations at #cfnc checks in attendees to our regional training for education professionals @forsythtechcc. #nced
Yesterday was my last day @ncpublicschools. I enjoyed my time as policy advisor for @CTruittEdu and appreciated the chance to get a closer look under the hood of #nced. Thanks for the opportunity. I wish @MoGreenNCDPI the best in his new role. The next adventure begins Tuesday.
@SloanRachmuth It was my mistake for thinking we were about to have a reasonable conversation. Why don’t you send me some proof and we can proceed from there?
@SloanRachmuth Teachers out on bail are not working in schools. The school is permitted to keep them off school grounds and even dismiss them. But of course, the truth doesn’t make as good of a sound bite, does it? I imagine that’s what we have to look forward to if you and your candidate win.
@SloanRachmuth Once DPI learns of something like this happening its legal team automatically issues a summary suspension of the license, which the State Superintendent signs. The license can’t be revoked because of due process rights granted by the constitution of the United States.
Today is
@theNCForum Eggs and Issues. Yet again @MicheleMorrowNC was invited, and yet again she didn’t show up. If she did, everybody would see how little she understands #nced. She sent a campaign van, however. It’s a preview of what the state will get if she wins.
I have some personal news. Today is my last day @EducationNC. It has been a privilege to write for you all, and I am going to miss everybody. Especially my colleagues. Thank you for these 8+ years. Here is a note I wrote about my departure: https://t.co/hR5yAynRpb #nced#ncga
