Agri Aware and Laois and Offaly Education and Training Board were proud to welcome finalists to present their ideas to judges Kaleb Cooper, Philip Stewart , Roz O’Shaughnessy, and Tony Dalton.

A glimpse into what goes on at the Lidl Farm 🌱
We were delighted to welcome @martinheydontd to see the Lidl Farm in action! Students explored the polytunnels, learned all about the milking process and different animal feeds, planted their own lettuce, and discovered the importance of soil types.
To top it all off, they hopped on the train for a behind-the-scenes tour of the Lidl regional distribution centre

The Irish Farm Film Producers Group (IFFPG), Ireland’s national farm plastics recycling scheme, has become the latest organisation to join Agri Aware as a patron.
Established in 1998, IFFPG is the national, not-for-profit compliance scheme responsible for the collection and recycling of farm plastics. The organisation works with farmers, industry stakeholders, and government bodies to deliver one of the highest recycling rates in Europe, ensuring that Ireland’s agricultural sector continues to meet ambitious sustainability and circular economy goals.
IFFPG joins over 60+ patrons of Agri Aware, further strengthening the agri-food educational body’s mission to enhance agricultural literacy among the general public.
