I miss Buenos Aires cafes:
You stop at a one in -say, Corrientes Ave. Sit , order, a waiter brings a coffee (with water and maybe a shortbread biscuit), enjoy it while reading, pay, leave.

The Starbucks-like coffee "to go" efficiency is faster, but has a cost to the experience.
