JUST IN: Austin Metcalf’s dad says he was disrespected and thrown out of a press conference after hoping to pray with the accused k*ller’s family

“After I leave, that Dominique … just gaslights to s— out of me. Says I’m disrespecting, I’m so disrespectful, I’m disrespecting the dignity of my son by showing up … and I’m just like whatever, dude. My character’s been ass*ssinated. Or they’ve tried to ass*ssinate my character.”

“This is my point: We’re both victims. My son’s dead. They’re son will be in prison. But it’s the end of the day, [Karmelo] needs to be accountable for his actions,” he said

Karmelo Anthony’s family held a press event in Dallas after the 17-year-old was released on house arrest

Austin Metcalf’s father, Jeff Metcalf, showed up unannounced and was escorted out by police

“They should have pulled me up [to the front] and said, ‘We are so sorry. Our condolences.’”

He said all he wanted was to pray together and show unity: “The only thing I would have said was, ‘Okay, can we pray together and show the world we’re united.’”

After the appearance, Metcalf and his ex-wife were both targeted with “swatting” calls.

Metcalf resigned from his real estate job, saying, “I feared for my colleagues’ and clients’ safety.”

He said he meant no harm: “I just wanted to represent Austin” and counter online claims that painted his son as a bully.

Metcalf also hoped for an apology from the Anthony family for their son’s alleged actions

@AOC I know you get confused easily here is the definition of insider trading. Illegal practice of buying or selling a co's securities (like stocks or bonds) based on material, non-public info about the co, often obtained through privileged access or tipping. It was not private info
