For centuries,
Survival has made it a necessity
To store, process and transport food.
Since the beginning of time,
We have fed and survived
And learned to produce more.
Today, we honour all those
Who have passed on the culture
Of producing food and keeping storage;
1/3
Making flour and extracting oils;
Whom through trade, have transported the fruits of our toil -
That we may have sumptuous varieties on our plates.
Today, we celebrate the hard work and dedication of men and women,
Who have passed on the knowledge of agriculture

Who have taken to agriculture and are working hard
To produce food, keep farmers happy and deliver food to our doorsteps.
Let's grow, nourish and sustain together
Our actions are our future.
Happy World Food Day!
