@am27852 I think we can all agree Ferrari hasn’t gotten the best out of Hamilton yet. Hamilton can and is capable of being faster than what we’ve seen.

Max was a 4x consecutive champion from 2021–24, so I wouldn’t necessarily call what he’s driving a “shitbox.” Give the man some credit.

The threats are obviously unacceptable. Criticism, however, isn’t abuse. When you’re the governing body, you have the time to review the facts, apply the proper context, and correct mistakes. Bad calls happen in the moment, but refusing to fix them time and time again is what has destroyed the trust of the fans.

Fans are invested in this sport and the teams they follow. They spend their hard-earned money on tickets and merchandise, and they dedicate their time to watching and supporting it. Fans deserve to be treated with respect. And the best way to do that is by making fair, consistent, and honest decisions.

I don’t believe F1 is glorifying the crash as some of these comments are implying. These replays such as this one is about showing the incredible reaction time these drivers have with a split second to avoid chaos. That’s the highlight here. Thankfully Max walked away okay, if the outcome had been more serious, I’d feel different about replaying it so much.

@wearetherace @XPBImages Hamilton is a legend. He’s been doing this for a long time. He knows what needs to be said for a team to turn things around. There’s a lot of racing left. Ferrari can still salvage the season.

At this point, it’s hard to argue that Leclerc has been anything more than below average this season. Hamilton, has consistently been the one keeping Ferrari relevant when it matters. Ferrari needs to stop treating Leclerc with kid gloves and start rewarding the driver who’s actually maximizing the opportunities they have. And I’m still very much a Leclerc fan! I just need to say what needs to be said.

This is mainly due to Ferrari failing to make the hard call. Charles has every right to race, but once Ferrari decided he needed to pit, they needed to enforce it and stop sacrificing Hamilton’s race to avoid upsetting their other driver. Mercedes showed today how team orders are supposed to work. Ferrari needs to stop managing feelings and start managing points.
