FIFA has revoked the ticket allocation for Iran fans at the team's three World Cup games in the United States, the national football federation said Tuesday. https://t.co/PvSOGhzYPv
@whatever635352@PolymarketFC@FIFAcom They’re being forced to stay in Tijuana when their games are in the U.S. What do you mean exaggerated lmao?
My point still stands. Why the sudden stance on the flag, but they’ve ignored the Iran and Somalian referee situation
@zatchfcb Cucu, Llorente, & whichever Spanish ST plays are actually good on the ball. We had Kounde, Balde, & an aging Lewa.
There’s only one Rodri (exp+style), and FDJ has shown he cannot play single pivot. Olmo & Fermin are 10s, not 8s.
The squad depth & dynamics are just different.
@Nova__999999@NealGardner_ You’re right. Though, I never thought he’d be around for the World Cup (age/ no third term). FIFA should also take some responsibility for this disaster brewing
🇲🇽😤Labor exploitation of indigenous women 👕
Tatiana Bernaldez from Proceso Revela, reports a case in which indigenous women who worked on the production of Mexico’s national team jerseys allegedly suffered labor exploitation.
According to the report, the Mexican company Someone Somewhere , which promotes Mexican artisanal products, allegedly paid only around $36 MXN for hours of embroidery work on garments that can sell for up to $5,000 MXN 👕💸.
It is also claimed that medical insurance was promised but never delivered, and that traditional indigenous symbols and ancestral techniques were modified to reduce production costs.
The report accuses the company of using “inclusion” narratives around Indigenous communities as a branding strategy while allegedly benefiting from underpaid labor.
Additionally, the business model is said to have originated within the Tecnológico de Monterrey ecosystem, backed by investment based on the idea of integrating communities into global markets but operating under low-cost production schemes.
We need people to talk more about this.
@tedcruz I proudly stood in the way of your AI-data center amendment to the Big Beautiful Bill that would have given those companies immunity from the law. In fact, @mtgreenee and I got it stripped from the bill. Did your big tech cronies still let you cash their checks after you failed?
