For the people making fun of Caleb for "crying over a hamstring"
He wasn't crying because his leg hurt, he was crying because he didn't know if he was going to be out for any length of time and he hates not being out there. That's why most of the guys who are crying on a cart are crying (during an adrenaline dump mind you).
These players like playing football, and don't want to stop playing football.
I think the thing we are missing regarding Caleb Williams reaction to the injury yesterday is his love for winning, the city, and football.
A Grade 1 hamstring can cause sharp pain early on. Caleb didn’t know the severity, so the thought of the season going out the window and letting the city and team down probably weighed heavily on him in that moment. The offense dropped 59 in Week 1, and the Bears likely win yesterday if Caleb doesn’t go down, too. So all of those emotions factored into his genuine and authentic reaction. This could and still might be a special season.
But anyone calling him soft or saying his reaction was over the top is absurd. I can’t believe it’s even a topic.
Ben Johnson with the #1 aura gamble that paid off instantly maybe ever saying he wants the highest scoring offense in league history and then Caleb Williams & the Bears went out and put up 59 points on the road in week 1
Myles Garrett checked Micah Parsons on the Bears behalf. Told him Packers are all talk and Micah said how much it hurt to see Caleb get the Iceman name stamped against the Packers. 😂😂😂
POWERFUL: #Bears star tight end Colston Loveland gave all GLORY TO GOD after their historic comeback playoff win 🙏
“All glory to God, first off. I've been praying on this, and to see it come to fruition is very, very cool”
“Like I said, all glory to God
