Emirates is still flying 300–350 departures a day out of Dubai, the UAE has one of the world’s highest missile interception rates, and life in the cities is going on completely normally.
IMO: while many places freeze when tensions rise, UAE just keeps moving forward. Sheikh Mohammed put it best: “It doesn’t matter if you’re a lion or a gazelle.... when the sun rises, you better start running.” That’s the exact mindset that turned desert into one of the most dynamic places on Earth.
I don’t think there is a country in the world that cares for the safety and wellbeing of its citizens, residents, and visitors the way the UAE does
Proud to be Emirati 🇦🇪
Today I used the Emirates terminal in Dubai.
Contrary to the videos circulating on social media, there was hardly any congestion.
Check-in was extremely smooth and swift, and the flight departed on time. The aircraft itself was full.
Just a reminder: don’t believe everything you see on social media.
Verify before forming an opinion.
Remember my video of Burj Khalifa earlier today
Here is the same angle, live right now.
I have covered all angles of the Burj Khalifa in Downtown Dubai
No streets are blocked, no checkpoints, people are out and about
CHILLIN in the UAE 😎
Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashed Al Maktoum was just at a public event walking outside
Ignore the propaganda and lies on social media that Dubai or the UAE are in danger
@RobTannerLCFC I would make Winks play - he’s the highest paid player in the EFL! Also Jake Evans going out on loan - why??? It must mean that the prolific scoring machine PatDak must be staying. I despair 😞
