BREAKING: Texas becomes the first state to mandate Bible passages in public school reading lists.

The State Board of Education approved the new required literature curriculum today in a 9-5 vote. It forces K-12 students (over 5 million kids) to read specific Bible excerpts alongside other texts.

This is a direct violation of church-state separation.
