After 12 years, moving on. All the staff at Twitter were doing great jobs and for good reasons. Elon has cut off the development opportunities for new young staff and affected so many families. He's treating it as a start up company (it's not)

@BigBearF1 The Local feature is better than Twitter because you can join a server with likewise users without having to follow them. I.e. LGBT, Green, Motorsport etc. You can start with the main one https://t.co/NuvrlTqcpY . Note it is like joining twitter from the beginning.

@BigBearF1 I'm set up on Mastodon as [email protected] the only "confusing" bit is which server to start with. You can search and follow any other accounts or posts. It doesn't matter. I signed up for mastodonuk as it's a UK one. The Local view are posts on the server you picked.
