🏡ACE Place Nursery & Out of School Care Burnside & Rutherglen. We are Adaptable, Ambitious, Approachable, Caring, Fun Loving, Inclusive & Professional.
Working on budgets today as the storm rages. Closing the gap due to changes in NI coming into effect in April is a real challenge. ‘Really hoping @scotgov and @SouthLanCouncil make appropriate adjustments to our funded rates to compensate.
As a people friendly workplace, many of our staff are on part time contracts, to suit their needs. The resulting impact of NI changes coupled with the wage rises they so rightly deserve is approx £2.5k increase in employers cost per employee
‘Closed our services today due to red weather warning. ‘Was nervous that we were letting parent’s down but I think this morning I can see we did the right thing. It really is whipping up a storm and I’m glad our team aren’t having to go out and and put themselves as risk. 💨⚠️
Fabulous day with our ACE Place staff today. Lots of fab learning, team building and re-charging our creative minds with @alicesharp66 Who knew head, shoulders, knees and toes could be so much fun? We’ll never do it the same again. @KirsteenMcnicol@ashta86@Nicesz1
We have places available in all age categories at our newly refurbished ACE Place Riverside in Carluke, Spread the word to anyone looking for childcare in Carluke and surrounding areas!
👏Great news for staff working for RLW employers like ourselves. Calculators at the ready to see how we can make this work for our team at ACE Place. Eagerly awaiting news on our funded rate increase from SLC, a huge contributory factor in determining if we can make this work.

We do so much support our staff, rewarding them for their efforts, Real Living Wage, Mum Friendly Workplace, Investors in Young People, Fair Work Policies; making a limited budget go a long way, but fear that there just isn’t any stretch left with costs rising at an alarming rate
It's blog time! This week I've written about the creation of a National Pay Scale within our sector, and how that would help us to thrive, not just survive. Read more here https://t.co/kTc58ck9Dd
