When I tell Obidients to focus more on delivering Peter Obi as a Presidential candidate than issues of who is more important between Obidients and NDC, some people don't actually understand.

The truth is that Dickson has little to lose if all efforts are not channeled towards delivering Peter Obi.

Dickson is currently contesting to be reelected as a Senator of Bayelsa West Senatorial District.

With his popularity and local political strength in Bayelsa, coupled with the OK wave, he will definitely get it.

Also, with OK Movement across Nigeria, he will equally secure enough seats in the National Assembly that can be ably accredited to his name.

So, in Dickson's calculations, whether Peter Obi becomes President or not, he still has a strong political future ahead of him.

But for Obi, the story is completely different.

If NDC fails to deliver its Presidential candidate in 2027, Obi's shot at the Presidency may be foreclosed until the North completes its 8 years. By then, I doubt if Obi will still have the strength, momentum, and opportunity to contest again.

That is why some people do not understand what is truly at stake.

For Dickson, even if Obi does not get it in 2027, he could easily realign with Kwankwaso or any other popular candidate from the North to fly the Presidential ticket of NDC in the future, while positioning himself as a Vice Presidential candidate or even something bigger.

You have heard him make comments that "no one is more qualified than him, just that he doesn't have the traction at the moment."

That statement can only tell you one thing:

Dickson also dearly wishes to be in Obi's shoes.

And there is nothing wrong with that. Every ambitious politician dreams of getting to the top. But when dealing with such a man, wisdom becomes very important.

Only very few men genuinely love their fellow men enough to watch them succeed beyond where they themselves wish to be.

No matter how a co-wife loves her stepchildren, she may never wish them well more than the children that came directly from her own womb.

That is Dickson for you.

If I am Atiku Abubakar, one of the people I should fear most right now is not the opposition or even the ruling party. It is Kenneth Okonkwo.

A man who is ready to drown another man, notwithstanding whatever it takes, should never be an indoor ally.

Kenneth's reply to Peter Obi's legal team should tell you the kind of man he is.

The first thing he did was threaten to divulge confidential information he got by virtue of being Obi's Presidential Spokesperson in 2023.

I wonder what Kenneth makes of Rule 19 of the Rules of Professional Conduct on confidentiality as a lawyer.

If Atiku does not discard Kenneth, or at best position him in a place where he will not have access to privileged information, Atiku may become the next target of attack if and when he finally loses in 2027.

People like Kenneth Okonkwo are not driven by loyalty or conviction. They are driven by survival. They can promise you the head of John the Baptist as long as the sail is going smoothly, but they will not hesitate to ground you in the storm the moment disagreement arises.

An orphan may not be privileged to consistently live his life through the advice of elders. But if he is wise enough, he can still learn valuable lessons while those elders advise people who have parents.

Atiku must discard Kenneth.

Otherwise, he may become Kenneth's next victim after the 2027 elections.

Bayo Onanuga is right. Peter Obi did not forfeit $460,000 proceeds from illicit drugs to the U.S Government. His name is not on any FBI nor DEA file. Only a Bola could graduate from high school before the school was ever founded.

One thing I like about the last night interview on Arise TV between Seriake Dickson and Charles, is that it has cleared alot of things for Peter Obi.

Supreme leader Dickson succeeded in clearing Obi's name from all shenanigans associated with the NDC primaries, everyone now knows that Peter Obi is not involved.

All aggrieved Obidient who participated in the NDC primaries should now cut some slack for Obi.

The owner of the party knows what he wants for his party and who he wants to give tickets.

We are tenants in the party and every Obidient must respect that. A political party is just a vehicle to a destination.

The aim is to get Peter Obi to Aso Rock in 2027 and that should now be our main focus now.
