@JoeGoodberry I’m a life long Chiefs fan and raising my kiddos as such… but last year when my 6 year old learned we’re playing the bengals in the AFCCG he said “ohhhhh that’s tricky mommy. I really like Tigers.”

[Amanda Hempel @ahemp85]

@TAC_514 Saaaame. Sharing in sports misery and joy has been a fun (maybe slightly creepy) way to stay connected in my head! Yesterday’s loss made me so mad I needed to find solidarity.

[Amanda Hempel @ahemp85]

@TAC_514 Oh wow!!! Hi guys!!!

[NPR @NPR]

Some prominent Republicans have blamed wind and solar power for the blackouts in Texas. But the truth is *every* kind of power generation fell short.

In fact, significantly more natural gas and coal went offline than renewables.

The officer who shot and killed Jonathan Price in Wolfe City, Texas has been charged with murder.

Jonathan was a community leader and mentor who was killed while trying to break up a domestic dispute. I hope his family receives the justice they deserve. https://t.co/IT4mIokxQn

@TAC_514 @Chiefs lol. I’m home solo with both kiddos trying to set a good example and it’s so hard. I’m sorry to my children in advance for raising them as sports fan.

[Amanda Hempel @ahemp85]

@nbrewer24 @AdamSchefter @AP_NFL OF COURSE IT IS. Ugh.

[Amanda Hempel @ahemp85]

@ChiefFansDallas Woah! Like for reserved tables or there are actually people in the bar already!?

[Amanda Hempel @ahemp85]

I think he gets it. I can’t even enjoy this week leading up to the game. The anxiety is real. And ridiculous. #ChiefsKingdom

[Good Morning Football @gmfb]

The @Chiefs are 0-6 in home playoff games since 1994. We know. Well, this one's for Lin Elliott. For Marty. For the thousands of Chiefs fans who can't sleep this week.

@PSchrags says it's going to be OK. Those teams... those teams didn't have @PatrickMahomes5.

@ArrowheadPride

[Amanda Hempel @ahemp85]

@nbrewer24 Agreed!

[Amanda Hempel @ahemp85]

Watching the #NLDS and my 2.5 year old is distraught hearing the chop at the @Braves stadium - saying “it’s not football!! It’s baseball!” #ChiefsKingdom

[Amanda Hempel @ahemp85]

@TAC_514 @laurenwellsKC Oh good! I knew those babysitters had no idea what they were doing. #TeamFORK

[Amanda Hempel @ahemp85]

@TAC_514 @laurenwellsKC okay on the mac and cheese thing I may be in the minority.. I remember babysitters always giving me spoons and being super irritated by it.

[Amanda Hempel @ahemp85]

@laurenwellsKC So does that mean if you’re handed chopsticks you have to request a spoon as opposed to a fork because for some reason that is just a lot funnier to me.
